Luke Matheny, the surprise winner who won the award for live action short film "God of Love" on Sunday, a doctoral student at New York University's film program. It is therefore prudent that he was out of his comfort zone at the star-prestigious event.
On the red carpet before the Oscars broadcast Matheny admitted he was "behind Robert Downey Jr. and tried to get on television."
And lunch candidates earlier this month, the student was also struck out.
"When you're in a room and there is a famous person, it is very worrying," he said backstage. "But the candidate's lunch was wall to wall, and somehow I clicked on this plan other reality. "
Matheny new reality is not in the game, he said that despite the deluge of congratulations, he was already one of her friends and family.
"I'm still in treatment here. I am 73 unread text messages and 50 e-mails unread, he laughed.
Last night, on his Facebook page, said he would sent a message of gratitude to his friends Matheny NYU.
