St. Louis pays tribute to Carnival's "American Treasures"

(KMOV) - St. Louis celebrated the 32nd Carnival Parade Grand River City. This year's parade is to honor the greatest treasures of America.
The parade begins at 11 am at Field River City Parade staging at the 7 and Cerre Street, south of Busch Stadium.
The parade travels south on 7 and through the historic neighborhood of Soulard.
More than 100 floats, bands, Brigade lawn chair, and other items to complete the 2011 Grand Parade on Saturday, all the treasures of American honor. Some topics of swimmers like Fort Knox, American Bandstand, Mickey Mouse, Fast Food, Las Vegas Drive-In Theater, Mark Twain, and of course, the Gateway Arch
The parade will also honor veterans of all branches of service. These veterans have served the United States in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan.
