DOMA allows states to refuse gay marriages that have been recognized in other states.
"It's huge," said Megyn Kelly on Fox News.
Nobody scolds shock and dismay that Kelly. That is, it is quite shocking, and Kelly provides an explanation of credit secular good.
But contributor Maggie Gallagher, president of the National Organization for Marriage, had a different perspective on the recent decision by Barack Obama
Although Gallagher said it was "an extraordinary, extra-constitutional behavior" on behalf of the President, she said it was "not really defend this law ... It is now s' open the House to intervene in this matter, and ask someone in the camp really wants to defend that right. In a way back, I think it will eventually be good news for the defense the Marriage Act.
There are probably many people on the other side of the debate (fair and balanced), which is good news for very different reasons to think that, this from the NYT.:

Congress may decide to appoint its own lawyers to defend the law or outside groups may try to intervene in cases of mounting legal arguments for the legal defense. Mr. Holder said that the administration continues to enforce the law, unless and until Congress repealed, or a court makes a final decision against the constitutionality of the law. "
