Steelers blitz playoff record books berth eighth Super Bowl
The Pittsburgh Steelers win the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, a significant gap in the record books of the NFL.
The Steelers have won a place in their eighth game of the Super Bowl, where they tied with the Dallas Cowboys for most appearances ever showcase event NFL.
After the victory against the New York Jets 24-19 Sunday, the Steelers are on a track record seventh Super Bowl against the Green Bay Packers 6th February looking for.
Other brands have reached the Steelers on Sunday:
- Tied the Cowboys for the most wins of the season in NFL history with 33rd
- Create a new mark for most home wins over the season in NFL history with 20
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, 38, became the youngest coach to win his second place Super Bowl. He also joined Joe Gibbs as the only coach to have led the team to two Super Bowl berths in his first four seasons as coach.
