Report: Elizabeth Edwards has won "cancer
"Because they say they are not strong enough to be processed, which tells me that their disease is advanced and could benefit from the end of their lives," Ira Byock, director of palliative medicine at Dartmouth -Hitchcock Medical Center, said Liz.
The Associated Press quoted an unnamed friend of the family, the doctors told Edwards they live only a few weeks, said. The friend was granted anonymity because of the personal information disclosed.

Elizabeth Edwards' cancer has spread to her liver and doctors recommend additional treatment to reports, People magazine.
In a statement to the magazine, said the Edwards family, Elizabeth Edwards is sitting at home in North Carolina. My daughter, Cate, an attorney, Washington, and other family members will be with her.
The magazine said Edwards has a message to his Facebook friends and said she was "all my life supported by three Graces Saving -. My family, my friends, and a belief in the power of resilience and hope"
Edwards, 61, is legally separate from her husband, separated from the former vice presidential candidate Democrat John Edwards. The former North Carolina senator had admitted an affair with Rielle Hunter and the cameraman time - after months of denials - that he fathered a child Hunter, Frances Quinn.
Elizabeth Edwards was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2004. She learned in 2007 when her husband offers ready for a presidential campaign in 2008 that the cancer had returned.
