27. December (aktiencheck.de AG) - are New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey expected to reopen today by clock 6, the Federal Aviation Administration said on its website.

New York LaGuardia Airport is 4 clock operations resumed after a period of 12 hours caused by a snowstorm, according to the FAA. Both Kennedy and Newark closed yesterday.

More than 6,000 flights were canceled in the region after the storms of snow covered the cities of New York to Boston.
