After the close of Wednesday, December 29, the Ministry of Transport of Arizona, Interstate 17 is now open to the north and south.

Mackenzie Nuño, ADOT spokesman said that part of SR 89A remain closed for at least 24 hours.
Snowy conditions forced the closure of the clock on the highway north 17 16.00 Wednesday. Dozens of calls from vehicles stuck or sliding off the road all morning rescuers were reported long. I-17 south was closed for six hours, between 316 and 327 kilometer, about two miles south of Flagstaff. Traffic was diverted to the North.
After midnight, due to a storm cell, which extends across Interstate 40 Kingman, Flagstaff and Winslow, Milepost 71-252, was closed in both directions due to winter driving conditions.
U.S. Route 180 was also closed between milepost 236 and 248 Kendrick Park, Cedar Ranch.
Interstate 17 south of Flagstaff opened at 10:30 clock, Thursday, December 30. The road was smooth and motorists are advised to exercise caution and reduced speed.
From 01.20 clock, opened Thursday, Interstate 40 in both directions. I-17 north to 13.45 clock
Oak Creek Canyon is still closed.
