Celebration of Hanukkah begins
Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Hanukkah, the Jewish feast of eight days of Lights begins Wednesday, Dec. 1.
To celebrate a number of events are held throughout the region.
The Jewish Discovery Center celebrates its 18th Annual Meeting of the family Hanukkah party.
The Family Festival of Hanukkah, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 instead of 5.30 clock - Clock 7:30 at the Jewish Discovery Center, 757 Hopkins Road Williamsville. The program will include a full meal, Chanukah Music Chanukah menorah lighting, games, crafts, candies, Hanukkah and lots of fun for the whole family.
Sunday 5 December organizers hold a Hanukkah Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl Hanukkah is Sunday, December 5, 03:00 -5:00 clock in transit corridors, 7850 on Transit Road in Williamsville place.
People of all ages love to sing traditional songs of Hanukkah as "Rock of Ages" and "The Dreidel Song", while enjoying a great game of bowling, eating potato pancakes tasty, a large pin bowling illumination Menorah gel more chocolate, games and prizes for children.
The event is Jewish Discovery Center, Chai Hebrew School and Amhurst Day organized by the school.
