Poseidon Episode 15 en Highlight
Revelations, that's how I describe tonight's episode and with 1 more episode to go before the action drama Poseidon ends, I am expecting that the writer by now should start tying all the loose ends so that the ending will not look like it was rushed. I was shocked to learn that Yong Gap is connected to the black snake triad and is the one tipping them of the authorities' actions. You will later learn how he helps President Lee and the killer guy to escape from being arrested by CGI9. Let's start!
Episode 15 Highlight:
Sun Woo's intuition tells him that the place in the photo that was sent to his phone could be near where he's standing so he follows the blood trail and runs to it only to find the dead body of his sunbae and cries in anguish. Soo Yoon was locked up at the basement of President Lee's villa and looked weak and dehydrated.
Jung Ryul and Sun Woo are talking at the roof deck of Soo Yoon's home. Jung Ryul tries to make Sun Woo realize that Soo Yoon could be dead. Sun Woo didn't like what he heard and punches/pushes Jung Ryul. Hee Sook (SY's mom) is still in a daze so Young Ran (SY's aunt) tries to take her out of her stupor. Hee Sook says she's unable to do anything for her missing daughter. Sun Woo is now calm as Jung Ryul talks to him that they'll do everything to find her and a determined Sun Woo says that he won't stop looking for her.
Min Hyuk and Choong Shik are in the office tinkering with their guns when Jung Ryul arrives. They asked him about any updates on Soo Yoon's case but he told them that they're still waiting for new information/leads. A guy brings Soo Yoon food and sees that she never touched the one he gave her earlier. She tries to escape by hitting him but the guy overpowers her and cries as her attempts of escaping failed.
Bureau chief Sang Goon talks to Jung Ryul and Joo Min about their plan and further gives orders to them. Jung Ryul and Joo Min discuss their plan outside the bureau chief's office. While the new guy gives a folder with the Coast Guard's logo containing information to Sun Woo's father. They're working on something and I have a feeling this will hurt Sun Woo when he finds out.
Sun Woo goes to prison to talk to Duk Soo and was wondering if he can help him and give information on where to find Soo Yoon. Duk Soo says something about Joo Min and his men. Sun Woo remembers when he brought Eun Cheol to the airport while driving his car on his way to the headquarters.
Soo Yoon lies awake on the basement floor and calls for her mom and dad. She closes her eyes and remembers the scene at the boxing ring with Sun Woo. The basement door opens and the killer guy finally shows his face to Soo Yoon who remembers him as the one she and Sun Woo questioned during their investigation. She asks him why he's doing this to her and screams in anger when she was told that Sun Woo's sunbae was dead. She tries hitting the killer guy but his assistant held her by the neck. The men leaves and she starts to eat to regain her strength.
Sun Woo arrives at the headquarters and sees Jung Ryul at the hallway. He tells his boss that Eun Cheol or Joo Min may know something and Jung Ryul remembers the time when he was talking to Joo Min and the latter was telling him something. Jung Ryul mentions something about the Poseidon and they meet Joo Min at the hangar. Sun Woo follows Joo Min and asks him something about Eun Cheol. Jung Ryul and Sun Woo were at the parking lot of their headquarters and are talking inside the car.
Jung Ryul calls Sun Woo to his office while Yong Gap gets suspicious. The two are talking about the new information they got secretly. Soo Yoon was not able to finish her food and looks at the table when she pushes the food on top of the table and smashes the table to the wall sending it to pieces. She gets one foot of the table with a sharp tip. Sun Woo sits on his desk and looks at Soo Yoon's desk and imagines her looking back at him.
Jung Ryul is with Hye Jung and they're tracking down someone at the control room. He goes back to their office and tells Yong Gap to stay put as he is checking on something and wait for his instructions. Joo Min meets with the killer guy's assistant and he was escorted to President Lee's villa. They checked if he has devices attached to his body and was welcomed by the killer guy.
They went inside the villa and President Lee was happy to see Joo Min. They sit in the living room and the President starts eating tangerine as he talks to Jo Min he asks the killer guy to leave them alone. Jung Ryul and Sun Woo have already traced Joo Min's location and are on their way to his location. The President tells Joo Min a story about a teenage guy who was beaten by a gang of students. His name was shown but didn't get to read it because the connection lagged. The leader of the gang gets a piece of wood and hits the victim on the head and he loses consciousness. (Will update about the identity of the guy being beaten by the gang when I re-watch the raw video.)
Jung Ryul and Sun Woo stops outside the President's villa. Soo Yoon knocks and shouts by the door while holding the sharp-edged wood. Jung Ryul gets impatient and goes out of the car and calls Yong Gap. The 3 remaining members of CGI9 are at the office waiting for the call and they immediately went outside except for Yong Gap. They were shocked to hear that they're now outside the suspects home waiting to raid it.
Jung Ryul then calls Hye Jung and asks her to trace their location at the main control room, she also decided to send reinforcement at his location. Soo Yoon still banging the door when the assistant opens the door and she attacks him with her weapon but was again overpowered by the guy. He slams her to the wall and she falls on the floor. Joo Min and the President are outside talking when the killer guy shoots Joo Min several times in the body.
The president was surprised by his action but the killer guy explains that he was a spy and that they need to leave the house immediately. Joo Min was brought to the basement and Soo Yoon was surprised to see him bloodied. She tries to put pressure on his wound to stop it from bleeding. Night falls and there's still no trace of Joo Min so Jung Ryu along with his team and a back-up from the headquarters storm the house.
Sun Woo along with Jung Ryul enters the house. It was dark and empty. Sun Woo goes down the basement and was shocked to see Soo Yoon still alive trying to keep Joo Min alive. He goes to them and looks at Soo Yoon then starts to worry about Joo Min who whispers something to his ear before losing consciousness. Jang Ryul and the rest of the team arrives. Jang Ryul cradles Joo Min fearing he was dead but the latter moved his arms and everyone was relieved. (Will again update on what Joo Min whispered to Sun Woo.)
Joo Min was loaded in an ambulance and sent to the hospital while Sun Woo brings Soo Yoon to his car. She says sorry to him and he hugs her and she tells him the identity of the kidnapper. Yong Gap looks at them from afar and a series of flashbacks were shown all pointing to one thing: HE IS PART OF THE BLACK SNAKE TRIAD AND HAS BEEN TIPPING THE GROUP ABOUT CGI9 TEAM'S PLANS. He called the killer guy and told them that Joo Min was a spy and that the police are coming to raid the villa. He's the reason why President Lee and his men were able to escape before Jung Ryul and his men raided the villa.
FINALLY REUNITED!
Sun Woo takes Soo Yoon home and looks at her sleeping peacefully. Her mom was happy and relieved to see her daughter alive and okay. Sun Woo goes back to the headquarters and was talking to Jung Ryul about the possibility of someone sabotaging them. Sun Woo tells Jung Ryul of what Soo Yoon told her about the kidnappers. Soo Yoon at the rooftop of the headquarters looking outside when Yong Gap appears from behind and taps her shoulder both looking relieved…

My Thoughts:
UH OH! Are you thinking what I'm thinking of the last scene? For me the last scene implies both Yong Gap and Soo Yoon are up to something really fishy and with 1 more episode left, the ending scene may be a major turning point for the drama. Now that Sun Woo knows who they're running after, I am expecting an action-filled episode full of revelations tomorrow.
I noticed starting from episode 14 that Jung Ryul became very secretive when it comes to the details of their next action. He would always talk to Sun Woo in private and only informs his other men when they're about to move in. He may have already realized that someone from his team or from the organization is sabotaging him. The preview shows someone being buried at sea and my guess is it could be Joo Min. Let's hope that none of the guys at CGI9 dies, well Yong Gap can die for being a traitor.
