Strike Force in the main event Saturday night, scored welterweight champion Nick Diaz a victory by submission (arm bar) to maintain over Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos for the title at 4:50 of the second round at the HP Pavilion San Jose, California.
In the first round, both fighters are some of the best fighting skills displayed in all MMA this year. Cyborg landed legs after stroke leg and Diaz eventually recover from the blows to face Cyborg. Both fighters survived the round, but only to start the second round of the repeat. In the second round, Diaz continued his jab before the fight on the mat, where he rolled in a bar arm cyborg to retain its title to the land.
Many fans thought Diaz would not last blow of the fight after taking so much of the leg.
"I should have checked those kicks a bit better," said Diaz.
Diaz should be clearly mentioned as one of the best pound for pound fighter in the world. This fight is clearly the fight of the year so far.
When co-principal, remained Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza Robbie Lawler at 2:00 of the third round.
In the first round, Lawler Souza was in trouble when he faces a hard right to Souza, the champion landed down. Souza was about to survive the round on the back.
In the second round bars Souza tried two arms, but Lawler was able to escape both moving presentation. But in the third round of the Brazilian Lawler Souza could do with a rear naked choke to submit.
Herschel Walker Heavyweight came out the aggressor from the opening bell, marking the first combat knock in the opening minutes against Scott Carson. American Kickboxing Academy reached a (AKA) fighters, Walker a TKO in the first round, the challenger dominated both standing and ground. Walker finished 40 shots compared to two for Carson.
The 48-year-old former professional football star took a kick to the head in the opening seconds of the first round. "When you're in the MMA, you should not be kicked like that," Walker said.
UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez was on the flat side to support Walker.
Heavyweight fight Roger Gracie Trevor Prangley put a rear naked choke in round one. This was indeed a great challenge for the young Gracie fighters, is considered the top wrestler in the world.
Both guys feel in the other before Gracie Pranley taken upstairs to the 2:41 mark of the first round. Gracie pulled out in a comprehensive Pranley then transfer to a rear naked choke with a body triangle with 41 seconds in the first round.

Lightweight Bout: Isaiah Hill defeated Bobby Stack by submission (triangle choke) in 62 seconds.
Middleweight Bout: Eric Lawson Ron Keslar defeated by submission to Lawson struck at 1.57 in the first round.
Rooster Bout: Germaine de Randam beat Stephanie Webber by KO (knee) in the first round.
Welterweight Bout: James Terry Lucas Gamaza defeated by TKO (punches) at 3:26 in the first round.
Jenna Charlene Gellner Castillo by TKO at 3:57 of the second round fight.
