Robert Tate Miller never success inflate his head.

A native of Henderson County, who worked for WLOS as a producer of game shows, is now a champion LA screenwriter who lives in an affluent suburb with his wife and daughter.

He keeps in touch with old friends here and the university itself and invited to its first the last movie, "Goodbye Mr. Kringle," aired at 8 clock today on the Hallmark Channel. The film debuted Saturday and at least 10 times on air Hallmark Channel, said Miller.

He recently visited his class reunion 30 years in East Henderson, brings with old friends and enjoy the city, the inspiration for numerous films.

After college at the University of Georgia, Miller got his start working in the entertainment industry as a cameraman in the studio, producer, and a game show promotion writer and producer.

During the many years of payment of its contributions to Los Angeles, he sold his first screenplay in 2001.

Most of his movies are the likes of high moral character, and he even won a Camie Writer 2007 for his work.

Tonight, the public can see his new movie, "Goodbye Mr. Kringle," with Christine Taylor ("Zoolander") and a familiar voice. The story is how the passion of a man for Christmas is a city transformed, and how cynical Scrooge Taylor interacts with this man, he is the real Santa Claus said. Christine plays a journalist who investigates a town called mistletoe and the man who was his so-called Santa for 50 years.

Of course there is tension, the character Taylor and Kris Kringle clash dramatically, but the end is as sweet as most holiday films Hallmark wound.

"I liked the idea of an old man who had done something for 50 years in a city," Miller said of his inspiration for the screenplay. "I sat around and decided it would be Santa all the time. He just jumped into my head.

"Everyone loved the script and signed. He just kind of jumped off the computer and entered into production immediately."

Miller is not bragging. He had his share of dry spells in the industry.

In his youth, he worked in promotions in Florida and driving pleasure Sarah Jessica Parker for all their events. They approached and became good friends. Even today, Miller said she is one of the nicest people in the industry.

Miller said it was Parker, who ordered him to go. So he packed up his business and Hollywood hits, working various jobs until he sold his first screenplay.

He recently had a number of luck and success. He is currently working on a script for the big screen entitled "Singular Life," a romantic comedy that he hopes to sell.

Miller, who is in his hometown often Hendersonville, lives with his wife Gina and their 15 year old daughter Chloe in June in the region of the Northridge

When not writing, he watched the Bulldogs of Georgia.

"I am a rabid football fan," he said.
