Both open on the birth of their twins, Grace and Gideon Scott Harper, 12 October have been born substitute.
"Everybody says there is such a blur after the incident," said Harris told People magazine. "I'm constantly just trying to wrap my mind around it."
The "How I Met Your Mother" star, 37, and Burtka, 35, who lived together for almost seven years since pleasantly surprised that two eggs - one with the sperm of the actor, the other partner - with successfully inseminated their surrogate mother.

In less than three months, children are already developing different personalities.
reveals "Harper has been difficult, but Gideon is the easiest baby in the world," Burtka. "They are just starting to recognize us and smile."
And while fathers are still adjusting to life as parents is Harris that a bad thing.
"We can use them as an excuse to get out of almost everything," he said. "The timetable is permitted in the right direction."
